Split tab and close
Hello everyone,
Currently when I split the tab the file that I am splitting remains open in both the vertical areas of the screen (picture attached)
Is it possible to split vertically and close in one-go?

Yes, after splitting these two tabs are independent, so you can close one of them (but make sure it is not the tab in the split ;))

Thank you for the reply. I think I didn't explained myself well.
What I meant is to close automatically the tab I am splitting from.
Usually I have a bunch of files open in a single panel.
At a certain point I want to:
- take the file I am woking on to a second panel (split vertically)
- close it on the first panel
All of that just with the keyboard.
How can I achieve that?
