Preference Panel wont appear

Could you please describe your environment? Do you use OpenJDK? It has know issues.

I am experiencing the exact same issue. Neither Preferences or Settings appear after they are selected in the menus.

Environment: OS X 10.5.7

Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_16-b06-284)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_16-133, mixed mode, sharing)

Same problem.

Ubuntu Linux. Intellij 8.1.2 with latest ruby plugin.

java version "1.6.0_11"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_11-b03)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 11.0-b16, mixed mode, sharing)

I also notice this in the console after closing Intellij.

Could you please attach RubyMine logs that can be found in ~/.RubyMine10/system/log

I dont have a ~/.RubyMine directory. Where else could the logs be stored? I have been watching the Console and it the logs that it tracks but nothing has popped up there.

Logs are stored in ~/Libraries/Caches/RubyMine/log on Mac OSX.

Ok, my idea.log is attached. There is a directory titled "threadDumps-20090521-073932-907" but its empty.

Latest RubyMine Build 907.

I tried clearing out ~/Library/Application Support/RubyMine and
restarting but that didnt work.
