[ANN] JFormDesigner Plug-in Early Access 4

Hello,

a new Early Access release of the JFormDesigner plug-in
for IntelliJ IDEA 5.0 and later (5.1, Demetra) is
available now.

New features:
- Registered most JFormDesigner actions to IntelliJ IDEA's
action manager for assigning keyboard shortcuts and for
customization (add to toolbars or menus).
- New "Go to form / Go to code" action (CtrlShiftD)
added to main toolbar.
- Integrated JFormDesigner Help into IntelliJ IDEA Help.
Note: The help topics are not yet up-to-date.
- Updated BeanInfos for Java 6.
- Updated JGoodies Forms to 1.0.6.

Fixed bugs:
- Use package prefixes specified in module settings.
- Global Cut, Copy, Paste and Delete menu items enabled
if a .jfd file is active.
- Fixed "bad interaction" of JFormDesigner Error Log tool
window with IDEA's Find/Messages/Run tool windows.
- Fixed: Alloy theme reset problem.
- and some minor bugs fixed

Where? Here or per email on jformdesigner.com?

A forum there would be much better than just email :).

Where you want ;)

Either use this thread or send email to support@jformdesigner.com.

I'm especially interested in feedback regarding the
integration into IntelliJ IDEA. I know that some features
like "go to event handler Java code" are missing.
But what else? Where can I improve the integration?

I know, I know, but currently I've not the time to evaluate, install and maintain a forum...

Sorry, but maintaining a forum is actually less work than responding individually to each mail users
send as a feedback. On forums in many cases other users will answer or they'll see that the same
thing has been posted so you don't need to discuss again and again the same thing.
It would be also for developers much simpler since one can see everything related to that theme in
one place - on that forum.

Evaluate? No need for it:
http://www.jforum.net/ - fully powered, and much more secure than the PHP version.

Install? Well there's a tutorial if one needs help, but the process takes no more than a few
minutes, and requires nothing more than copying a WAR file into a specific directory and restarting
the server.

Ahmed.
