Enterprise plugin repository conditional proxy

IntelliJ supports an HTTP proxy but it is either on or off, and doesn’t support conditional proxying  the way that web browsers do.  Access to the main plug-in repository at jetbrains.net requires a proxy, but access to an internal something.mycompany.com should not use it as our proxy do not support mycompany.com addresses.  So, our internal plug-in host can be registered and verified as valid with the HTTP proxy turned off, but the plug-ins browser will not work in that state and our own plug-ins will never show up.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
