Documentation on Facets?

Hi,

Is there some more information about facets? Some issues in JIRA point to a page that supposedly describes the idea behind facets (e.g. http://www.jetbrains.net/jira/browse/IDEADEV-12328 ), but unfortunately the linked page isn't available.

Anything would be helpful, beginning with how to register a facet.

Hello Robert,

Please take into account that facets API is not in a stable state yet. It
may be changed in a subsequent EAPs.

That's what they call riding on the cutting edge ;)
I'm aware of the possibility that it will change. I'm starting to plan a new plugin that will probably take a long time to get completed. So it seems reasonable to start using facets inside it since module types won't be there after IDEA 7.0 will be released.
