IDEA 12.0: Maven pom.xml cannot be added
Maven Projects > + (Add Maven Projects) > Select Path and select pom.xml ==> OK button is disabled.
=> Impossible to add the maven pom file to the project.

I do not experience that issue. I recommend you open a bug report (http://youtrack.jetbrains.net/issues/IDEA) and provide some additional information such as your OS and version of Java being used to run IDEA.You may even want to mention the look & feel you are using (File Settings > IDE Settings > Appearance > Theme). Sometimes GUI issue like that end up being a problem with a L&F.
