I'd agree with this comment - I have multiple branches of the same project which all have the same project name but different paths.
When you go to reopen a project now, you just get a huge list of the same project name and have no idea which one you're going to reopen. This only appears to apply to to the "File->Reopen" menu and the initial screen on starting Idea, when you select "Reopen Recent Project"
Edit: After reading the linked YouTrack issue, I can see that the full path is displayed in the status bar. Not particularly intuitive, but it at least makes it usable for the time being.
I doubt that's a solution - oftentimes checkout may have different parts switched to different branch, no definitive tag/branch to display. I agree there wasn't a strong need to remove full path in the reopen dialog - it gets confusing with multiple checkouts of the same project
Not sure what you mean. 98.486 displays full project path in the title bar
Why do you need the whole path? What is your use case?
Please note that the path is displayed in the status bar on mouse over

Seems I also missed the path that is displayed in the status bar, so then there is no reason(s) to bring it back, at least not for me.... :)

Hmmm. Maybe show the name like it is now, then in a grey font show the full path or maybe on hover?
