Free upgrade to Idea 10?

Hello Vivek,

The only thing I can say is that right now the purchases of IntelliJ IDEA
9 do not get you a free upgrade to IntelliJ IDEA 10. If there will be a free
upgrade program, it will be announced later.

At what point in time does a purchase of Idea 9 automatically get you
a free upgrade to Idea 10? I want to make a purchase but given Idea 10
is in EAP, clearly don't want to pay again..
