Uninstall or Disable Plugin?

The project I am on is using 'basic' Java i.e. nothing like Velocity or Spring or anything.

So I am removing most of the plugins to speed up load time.

Is there is a difference between Uninstalling a plugin and disabling it in terms of performance?

Not that I know of. But IIRC, disabling has the advantage that they remain
disabled even after using a new build.

No. Actually recent builds of IDEA no longer allow you to uninstall bundled
plugins, because it leads to all sorts of problems later.
