Works fine for me actually. Is it consistent problem i.e. happens to
all of the fields?

It seems to hit all variables in the class, for example static and
public. String work, however. Also, I'm getting exceptions caused by the
JEE integration. I've submitted those using the exception screen and I
don't know if they are related.
