I don't see
http://www.jetbrains.net/jira/browse/IDEADEV-11650
in the list of fixed bugs, although it was promised (see last comment
in the bug) - is it an administrative error or a conscious decision?

This is an error. We'll include the fix in the next RC of 6.0.6.
