VisualVM In IntelliJ
Any plans to fold visualvm and a profiler into IntelliJ, similar to NetBeans?

Hello Michael,
No, we don't have any such plans yet. Given that VisualVM is built on the
NetBeans platform, it's far easier to integrate into NetBeans compared to
IDEA.

The most interesting part is that VisualVM is now part of the JDK!

It also seems to support extensions.
Maybe it would make sense to have some IntelliJ extension to VisualVM too, to help
the EAP process (or at least the IntelliJ plug-in development).
Also from the IntelliJ user's perspective, even if VisualVM is based on NB platform,
IMHO there should be at least a menu item in IntelliJ to start it (since it's part of the JDK) - for
the current running process.
