I tried it a while back. Too many quirks in the UI to make it usable. Haven't tried JDK 6 with any of the Selena builds though...

I have succesfully added Java 6 as a JSDK in IDEA to play with some of the new features. Seems to work 'fairly' well, except that some stuff is still in development or even not implemented yet.
