Mozilla Preview

very, very nice. My one comment is that, if I already have an HTML file open in preview mode or designer mode, if I open a new HTML file it should open in the same mode. Otherwise it's kind of visually jarring.

(Has a final decision been made on whether the designer will be in 6.0? I've got a couple of people here asking.)

I just tried it and got an error as shown in the attachment. Guess I'll
try fiddling with the registry as it states and see what happens...

Actually I don't know what to do since I don't know what the bridge is
or where it might have been installed. Searching the net leads to
http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=6184339 which
indicates the error message may be wrong anyway.

Jonas,

are you using Java Plugin in the page? Do you have an applet there?

Hmm. Yes, it seems there was an applet there, or at least an applet tag
without any actual applet. It was just an old HTML file that was lying
around in the project and I didn't really check its contents before
trying to preview it -- it isn't a web development project. Another
HTML file without applet tags works fine.
