HTTP Monitor?
Hi,
Any plans to include in IntelliJ a HTTP Monitor like the one from Netbeans?
The one from Netbeans is very useful, and in many cases helps to figure out the problems much faster
(much faster than debugging for web applications in many cases).
Thanks in advance,
Ahmed.

Anyone from Jetbrains :( ?
Thanks in advance,
Ahmed.
Hi Ahmed,
The last time I used NetBeans was about 7 years ago so perhaps you might want to share what your expectations of an HTTP monitor are.
Within IDEA, I've found the Axis TCP Monitor plug-in http://beta.plugins.intellij.net/plugin/?id=154 to be very useful for tracing HTTP requests and responses.

Hope this meets your needs
Cheers,
Franck
Don't know much about NetBeans for 7 years ago. If I recall well, it was the time of JBuilder 2.5
and JBCL :).
The acutal HTTP monitor is very good, simple to use, integrates simple and well into the IDE, the user
doesn't have to do much to use it, is fast enough, so it just works - just like one is used to the
most of the functionality in IntelliJ :).
It does not integrate well into IntelliJ, it needs from the user too much work.
There are many external "Monitors", but they all lack good integration and smooth workflow.
Thank you, but
I have the feeling that more IDE integration is required, and that's why the Netbeans one is working
so smoothly.
I was hoping though a more "official" answer from Jetbrains :(.
Thanks in advance,
Ahmed.
