Is this function also available for CVS? Does it show the commit messages for each of the updated files?
I start every morning with doing an update from CVS and then clicking 'show history' for each updated file in order to see the commit messages from the other developers and what they have been up to :-). It would be nice with a function that gives me the commit messages in one view for the updated files.
That would be excellent! Would be a very valuable team-related feature indeed.

Sigh, I know exactly what he's talking about. I tried TMate some time ago, and was absolutely sold. Currency rates applied, $50 isn't cheap for me, but yeah, I could pay for it. Now, convince the company I work for to do the same is a lot, lot harder.
It would go to a purchase comitee, who would have to research similar products, collect quotes from different vendors, bargain a lower price, and then, 6 or 7 months later, I would finally have my license...
Bottom line: anything that isn't free, or than I can't buy with my own money is ruled out. I'm the only IDEA user here -- everyone else is sold to eclipse and won't try anything else. Which sucks, btw. I lose a large amount of time trying to resolve problems people get into because they're using eclipse...

How do you get it? I've tried checking out from out https-server, but
IDEA busted with an exception (tracker-ID 49093).
