IDEADEV-445, please?

Formatter is being rewritten again (last time hopefully) so most of the annoying
formatter issues would go away along with the code that produced them.
It's all going to be over soon, we promise.

Let's track the life of

]. It was opened at 22 Feb 2005 23:00. On *28 Feb 2005
17:56* Olesya Smirnova requsted more info about it and, go figure,
immediately closed it as 'Cannot Reproduce'.

First problem. As the reporter, I got an email from JIRA telling me
that the issue was CLOSED as non-reproducible. Unfortunately, I
missed Olesya comment requesting more data. JIRA notification emails
aren't exactly the most readable piece of information I've come
across. It would be nice if Olesya asked for more info first, and
closed the issue later if the info wasn't provided.

Anyways, let's keep going... On 02 Mar 2005 00:23 Gordon Tyler
commented on the issue with a more detailed description of the
problem, and also attached the info Olesya requested. So far, no
answer.

On 22 Mar 2005 20:33 Gordon confirmed again that the issue
still exists on a newer build. So far, no answer. Are closed issues
ignored forever?

Today, I've opened another issue
(IDEA-1414[/url])
and later realized that it isn't exactly new: it's the same as
IDEADEV-445[/url
]. In fact, this is what motivated me to write this rant. Can we get a
word on this, please? As Gordon pointed out, manually reformat code
thanks to this silly bug has been extremely time consuming. Can it be
possible that me and Gordon are the only ones out experiencing this
problem?
