Create simple new project

I am an amateur programmer learning various languages including java. I have used a number of IDE,s including TextPad, Eclipse etc. I have now installed IntelliJ Community Edition. However I could not begin the simple "Hello World" project. After I use File -> new project -> Create proj from existing sources -> Enter name/location -> Create source directory -> finish, I find the project name in the left hand window but the editor(right hand window) blank. What is to be done next??
Where can I find the step by step instruction on how get on with "Hello World " before I go to longer programmes ??
