Why the editor tabs are so wide?
Why the editor tabs are so wide in IDEA LookAndFeel (in Windows LookAndFeel it is better)? In my opinion in this way the area is not utilized effectively...

You are right, so much space is wasted. This also makes positioning the
tabs to the left or right side of the editor almost useless.
