You should create a library with ant classes and ant sources and add this library to any module. Then you can see javadoc popups for tag and attribute names. This javadocs will be generated from java sources (class javadoc for tags and setter javadoc for attributes). If you use castom tasks add they aren't implemented in same project you nedd to create a library for them. Add of cause this feature will work if only task tag/attribute isn't red.

Why? My modules don't depend on ant jars and sources, IntelliJ IDEA does.
Doesn't the IDEA distribution include the ant jar file? I see that you include the trove4j source jar under the lib/src directory. Couldn't you include the ant sources there as well? Why can't you just get the information from those places rather than requiring every module to include dependancies to a library that they do not directly use?

Maybe IDEA will have support for ANT configuration (like JDK panel). We will configure ANTs, and atach source to configuration, not exactly to project.
