Profiler in IDEA 9
Hi,
any idea which Profiler to use? Is there any open source or commercial profiler available with IDEA 9 support? All existing plugins appear to be not working with version 9.

I've been using YourKit for some time now and it works fine in IDEA 9. It's commercial so you need a license. It's not easily found on their website but you can get a personal license for $99. You may have to contact their sales department to get the right link to purchase.
according to their website, only the .Net version is available for 99$, the java one is 5 times more expensive.
Did you manage a deal with them for the Java version for 99$ ?
Well like I said they don't advertise it too well. I think I originally found out about it in one of their forums. I did a little more digging in my archives and found this link:

It appears to still work but I can't guaruntee that it does. I originally purchased a v7 personal license and when v8 came out they didn't advertise an upgrade discount for personal licenses (which is usually 50% off). I contacted their sales department and they were quite helpful in sending me the right link and coupon codes.
If you're interested in it I would suggest contacting them. They may send you right to that same link.
