Is the Error Reporting Tool not present anymore in the release builds? I
had a couple of exceptions with #1167 today, the automatic exception
reporting tool didn't pop up.

Not sure where you got build 1167, I'm guessing you made a typo and are saying build 1162 (idea 4.0). Automatic error reporting in 1162 is working (for me at least). Here is one that it submitted for me
