Unable to view source code for STRUTS jar or any other 3rd party library

there certainly are problems with navigating to a library's sources

Hmm... But it's in "To be discussed" state. I still think it's correct
behaviour.

I have build 1141 and it works for me. Under project libraries I have a "Struts" entry, with
classes = c:\PATH\struts.jar
sources = c:\PATH\jakarta-struts-1.1-src.zip!\jakarta-struts-1.1-src\src\share

I can hit ctrl-N, type ActionError (looking in non-project classes), and the source pops right up. Hope this helps.

PS: IntelliJ, I still can't navigate to JSSE source though!
