Turn off Spell Checker in 9M1?
Is there a way to turn off the spell checker in 9.x M1? It adds more noise to the right side gutter hiding more important warnings.
Also, is there a way to customize what it spell checks? It would be nice if it spell checked comments but spell checking source code is mostly worthless as there are many acronyms and abbreviations to make it worthless.

You can simply go to Settings -> Plugins and disable the spell checker plugin there.
Hello Michael,
You can disable the spell checking inspection just like any other inspection
(press Alt-Enter and the right arrow key). The next build will have separate
options to enable spell checking of identifiers, comments and literals.

That will be a great addition!
I tried the alt-enter/turn off inspection thing before posting and it gave me options to add to dictionary/ignore word but I didn't see the inspection settings. Maybe I just overlooked it.
I guess the evel license for 9 M1 expired yesterday so I will try the inspection thing again when 9 final comes out.
Is there going to be a M2 with a new eval period?
Hello Michael,
There won't be an M2, but every EAP build has a new eval period:
