996, Fetch External Resource hangs at 99%, OSX10.3, JVM1.4.2DP1

I have the same problem.

AMD 2000+
1.0 GB RAM

Did you try to close the IDEA with the red close button of the IDEA main
frame? Sometimes that helps, even if File->Quit does not work anymore.
