Can't run 977

Do you have the UIDesigner plugin installed? If so, try removing it, they
said it's not a plugin anymore. Having it as a plugin as well prevents IDEA
from starting.

While it may not prevent you from running, did they not change JRE's in this release? Solely updating from the zip file won't update the JRE.
