Only Bronze for IDEA :(
I came across an IDE survey in the web: http://www.qa-systems.com/products/qstudioforjava/ide_marketshare.html. But maybe this is not representative...

More likely that it is, but it shows theres a lot of repressed, stunted,
frustrated developers out there, and maybe more that don't know any
better :)

How this result may be get, i don know. I guess, Eclipse and JBuilder is not

They got the 3rd place because of the market share, not for the quality.
Why eclipse is the first? Because its free and of acceptable feature
set. Why JBuilder is second? Because a lot of publications only talk
about JBuilder, so a lot of people don't even know, there are (better)
alternatives.

I beg to differ, sorry for pun :)
It will be true if you say it year ago. But now talking about eclipse is
more that eclipse can do, and i not listen about JBuilder since half a year.
From other side, IntelliJ keep good position on Java developers comunity.
I know that some guys from Eclipse say that IDEA if "wrong way", "not
perspective way" etc. But i think - the envy driven peoples.
Thanks!
