Reset all caches and other internal files

Hi,

Anybody knows how to reset all caches and internal files
used by IDEA for a project? I've got a project that seems
to have gotten ouf of sync and IDEA is stuck after
syncing with the local CVS and is starting to optimise
performance - it just hangs there with CPU usage at
about 100%.

Only if I remove all the local CVS files does it recover.

Any clues/ideas?
