when do you open resp. start to develop the openAPI for the EditorPane?

You're not the only one who would like to see that ;)
It'd be really nice to have both Icon editors and properties-files editors.

IMHO the openAPI for the editorPane is one of the most important improvement in Aurora(after uiDesigner :) | but when you are very strict, uiDesigner involves openAPI for editorPane).

It seems it's not yet ready for prime time.
Eugene Belyaev first started his RSS feed reader as a custom editor.
And the UI Designer is also a custom editor, that's true.

BTW, I hope it'll be possible to have different editors for a single kind of
file. Not a unique one.
