Help! I can no longer open my project

IDEA is asserting on opening my project in 807. I've even tried going back
to 804 with no luck. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a

I already did that. But, I'm having to rebuild my project. I was hoping
someone had a workaround.

FYI

After deleting every IDEA related project file I could think of, things
started working again when I deleted the D:\IntelliJ-IDEA-3.0\system\vcs
file for my project. It looks like this got corrupted. I had Local VCS
turned off, but there's an open bug where this is ignored.
