Demetra 5561 with Facelets error "'com.sun.facelets.FaceletViewHandler'

I'm using Demetra build 5561 with Facelets 1.1.11, and I'm getting an
error that says: "'com.sun.facelets.FaceletViewHandler' has no default
constructor"

Here is the relevent section of my faces-config.xml file:

I don't know if this is a problem with Facelets or Demetra. I've
looked at the JSF 1.2 spec (the user spec, not the implementor's
spec), but can't find anything about requiring a default constructor
for a <view-handler>.

If this is an error of Facelets I can file a bug over there.
