Some end-user perspective: I use the JBoss plugin w/ jboss 3.2.6 on a
daily basis (and in a complex project: 5 java modules, 1 ejb module, 2
web modules), and must say it works really well. Very nice job, Martin!

For the sake of completeness - standalone Tomcat 5.5.4 works nicely,
too. (Both 'normal' and JSP debugging)

For five cents an answer, give me name of servlet-containers that can debug
JSPs through IDEA. For example:

- Tomcat 4.0x

Tomcat 5.0.x
Resin 3.x (3rd party plugin)
Weblogic 7.x 8.x
JBoss 3.x and 4.x (3rd party plugin)

If you have an app server which is JSR45 compliant, then chances are you
can set it up and debug with it as well.

Do you explain or do you know websites that give details about jsp debug congiguration with jboss4 and eclipse. I tried with sysdeo (www.sysdeo.com) plugin but without success. With tomcat only, it's ok but with tomcat in jboss, I doen't work. Do you believe that I have to install tomcat in addition just to debug jsp.

Don't know anything about eclipse, but you definitively don't have to
install Tomcat in addition to JBoss - every JBoss installation has a
Tomcat instance integrated.
