is there a way to auto svn update on project open

For our web development we have a repository and project for each website we do, one of the annoying things we've noticed since switching to phpstorm is that everytime we open the project, either in the morning or through-out the day we have to do an svn update from the repository manually in order to make sure we have the latest code. Is there a way to automatically trigger the svn update command upon opening the project, or a setting that would allow for that happen? I can't seem to find anything related. There is a setting to have it check for changes every so many minutes but that does not trigger on project open but rather x number of minutes after it's been opened seems like.

There is no such feature, however the IDE will notify you if you are editing a file that is out of date when you have background check enabled.
