Problem with W3C CSS Validator in LESS files

I'm having an issue with getting warnings from the W3C CSS Validator in LESS files which have correct LESS syntax. I can turn off the validator for CSS in inspections which solves the issue. However, I would still like to use the validator for css files.

Is there some way I can turn off the W3C CSS Validator just for LESS files?
