JavaScript Debug run opens browser to empty URL, not program URL.

When clicking the Debug button to start a Debug session WebStorm launches Chrome to an empty URL.  If I paste in the URL configured in the Configurations dialog everything proceeds normally.

 

Browser: Chrome (or Chromium as well)

OS: Ubuntu

very strange. Please attach a screenshot of your run configuration plus a screencast that shows up your issue
