ActionScript trace("\n") in console

When I execute the following instructions trace("\n") or trace("\r"), the console doesn't print an empty line, is there a way to do so ?

No, all spaces and line breaks are trimmed, empty lines ignored. This will work:
trace("\u00A0");Hi Alexander,
