Unable to checkout from Private GitHub Repositories Permanently deleted user Created May 22, 2011 16:42 I can successfully check out from public github repos but not private repos. Is anyone else having the same issue ?
Situation resolved. Turns out that if you do ssh git@github.com you will notice that you need to generate/add a public key to the project.
