Viewing binary LOB data / images detected in LOB columns

Hi!

As I couldn't find any switch nor documentation on that - is there a possibility to have a preview or a plugin that gives the possibility to view data being contained in a LOB column?
The editor view detects it correctly e.g. as "1063x769 PNG image 7.36K", but is there nothing more you can do? E.g. a simple preview popup or preview?
The only thing I saw is saving the lob and then viewing it with the system image viewer.

If this is not yet possible: Would be a nice future feature ;-)
