Which shortcuts are broken for you? I have Ubuntu 11.10 beta installed and everything except (Alt) works well for me.

All shortcuts are broken. Ctrl-c, Ctrl-v are broken too.
Please ensure that is not Xfce that override shortcuts used in IDE.
