Help: .sencha 404 file not found after update!!!!

I've just updated to WebStorm 2016.1.2 Build #WS-145.971.

And all of a sudden, none of my Sencha Touch projects are working anymore.

Error is : Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)

http://localhost:61238/KitchenSink2/.sencha/app/microloader/development.js

Renaming .sencha to sencha (without leading dot) and everything works again... ;(

Thanks

Please see https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/WEB-21594: folders with name starting with '.' are considered hidden, serving files in hidden folders is blocked for security reasons...

Wow, that's terrible: all the Sencha users are impacted... Any workaround?

The only workaround is renaming a folder:( Please follow https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/WEB-21594 for updates

Thanks for your answer. Unfortunately, this workaround is unusable: it breaks the builds and all the tools associated with Sencha (like the sass compilator, etc...)

Any idea about when it will be fixed? This makes Webstorm almost unusable for all the Sencha-ExtJS users. Is it possible to change it's priority to a higher one?

there is no ETA for this fix. It's not quite clear how to fix it without breaking the security...
