Also 2 things:
1- Why no drag and drop from intelliUML to class diagram? kind of a
pain to keep hitting keys just to add classes
2- The font on OSX is just huge, makes 2 of the model's classes take the
full screen. I looked at the Fonts and Colors hoping you guys had
plugged something in there to control it but nothing there. Is there a
trick to this? There doesn't seem to be a way to zoom out or anything
to navigate a little easier.
What I do like about it is that it seems pretty light weight, and it
doesn't take forever to drag and redraw the layout. So from that point
of view it makes the tool very usable... unlike other tools which just
seem so incredibly heavy and sluggish.

This usually happens for a few minutes until the web server updates cached pages.
Planned for 1.4.
Font settings initially planned for 1.5, zoom for 1.4.

Cool thanks for the reply. Guess I know how long I'll wait before I
recommend it here in the office :)

it's definitely worth evaluating again, I've looked at the previous
version and found it pretty limiting, but although it's not quite there
yet I now do see the potential.
A couple of questions remain:
- upgrade policy and road map: obviously I'd be much more inclined to
spend money on it if I new the features you're planning to add to it
(and when they'll be released). How is your upgrade policy - I'd be
dispointed to find that when you're feature complete I'd need to buy a
hefty upgrade... same question for IDEA 5... will it be supported on
the same licence?
- will zoom also be available for printing? right now it seems
impossible to print even a reasonably sized diagram on one page?
- I had to look a bit before I found the Sequence Diagrams, very nice
indeed! Will there be an option to edit/configure them anytime soon?
Particularly hiding object from the invocation view would be really
helpful, as I don't necessarily want to see all calls to log4j logger
objects (log.warn etc)
- sometimes I seem to get duplicates in the model view - both point to
the same file
- do you plan to add some colour configuration (eg. classes blue,
interfaces green like in you toolbar?)
- an option to hide and show compartments per diagram would be good
(not only in the global settings)
but very nice so far - keep up the work and hope to hear from you

The roadmap is to have minor releases every 8-12 weeks. Planned features for next two minor releases:
1.4:
- Run with JRE 1.5
- Diagrams zoom
- Alignment of diagram elements
- Snap diagram elements to grid
- Grid configuration
- Add elements to Class Diagrams by drag & drop
- Improved printing (included zoom or fit to n pages)
1.5
- Diagrams fonts and colours configuration
- Diagrams autoscroll to/from source
- Sequence Diagrams elements filtering (i.e., skip calls to user-defined classes)
- Sequence Diagrams expand/collapse nested calls (i.e., generate sequence logic of a method called within the sequence diagram)
- Go to Diagram
A version for IDEA 5 is also in the pipeline but we are still analysing the required effort to estimate a release date (tentatively planned for September).
Regarding the upgrade policy, upgrades to minor releases are free within the support period. Namely, 30 days for the free support that comes with any licence, or an extra 12 months with the one year support contract. Also, with a support contract you are entitled to a 40% discount on upgrades to major releases, or free if you purchased a license within 3 months before released. Please visit http://www.betosoftware.com/teresa/support.html for further details.
Yes (Improved printing).
- Yes (Sequence Diagrams filtering).
Could you please provide a bug report to bugs@betosoftware.com? Thanks.
Yes (Diagrams fonts and colours configuration).
This option is already provided per Class Diagram and/or class/interface: select the Class Diagram in Model Explorer, or the class/interface in the Class Diagram, and set the desired values for Display Compartment Attribute/Operation in Properties Pane.
