Hmm, sounds interesting ;)
I would love to see the similar plugin for eclipse as my collegues (try to) work with eclipse.
Sending StackTraces and Code Pointers to other IDEs would be really great.
Could u document the communication "protocol"? Maybe someone would love to implement it for Eclipse/Netbeans/...

I'm going to settle the protocol when Jabber support will
be implemented. I hope to do it in a couple of months. After that I'll
take a closer look at the possibility of integration with other IDEs.

Hello Kirill,

Do you planned for another one pluging - IDEAbuse? This one must support
only IDEA and Eclipse and talk only by one direction from IDEA to Eclipse
with words patern "Eclipse ".
For substitution words recomended to use: 'can't think', 'can't refactor
as good as IDEA', 'doesn't support JDK1.5 as good as IDEA', 'sucks', 'is
not IDE', and so on
thx

Really cool idea! Just one problem: if your colleagues are using
different project/module files with the same source code, code pointers
and stacktraces (I assume) do not work because they include a module
reference which doesn't exist.
Perhaps if the module is not found, it could search all modules and
offer alternatives that it finds?
Ciao,
Gordon

Hum, if you support jabber then folks using OSX Tiger might be able to
use iChat with it.... and I am neither confirming nor denying that Tiger
has Jabber iChat support :)

Currently, Jabber support is of highest priority for me. And I think
that basic messaging will work with any Jabber client.

In 1.0 I plan to use FQN to search for corresponding Java source file
in content roots. This should resolve the problem of different
project/module layouts.
