Yaml plugin source

Hello michal,

Please file a feature request describing your use case and desired functionality.
Most likely we'll be able to implement this without open-sourcing the YAML
plugin.

Is there a chance you would open source the YAML plugin, we want to
add injected language support into YAML and the current Intellij YAML
psi classes don't implement the neccessary PsiLanguageInjectionHost
interface.

Given that the 10.5 release is almost out now, this won't appear earlier
than in IDEA 11. Of course, this will also appear in EAP builds before the
final release.

Thanks for the answer, this appears to be a costly feature - having to upgrade all of our licenses, wouldn't it be possible to release it as a plugin for 10.5 instead?

I really hope that the IntelliJ IDEA 11 release will offer more reasons to
upgrade your licenses besides the API change in the YAML plugin.

The YAML plugin is bundled in the distribution, and we do not plan to release
it separately from the release cycle of the core product.
