Several views would be relevant for most VCS (history view for example)?

Could you describe what is common for cvs history and (for example)
Clearcase history? Right now only cvs has history...

What about the merging tool?

It is used in the cvs (cvs->merge for merged file) but I think it is not
wery suit now. I think it will be opened (in the openapi) when it will be
more useful.

I am in the process of updating the Clearcase plugin. If your intention is

to open the ui up, maybe we could talk about it to make sure it suits
several VCS at the same time.
