Help with support AceJump in IDEA 15

Hello,
AceJump plugin does not works with IDEA 15 and i guess that the cause the same as in this issue - https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/VIM-970
If author will not fix it, I want to try to fix it myself - could anyone point me to commits, sources, docs etc. related to "changes in the IntelliJ API in 15 EAP builds" mentioned in the issue?

See a change to IncrementalSearchHandler in this commit. A similar change to a typed handler registration code will probably be required.
