Missing docs

Answered

I am using dependencies such as Jersey and Jackson, as well as imported local modules as well. However, when pressing on any of these dependencies methods or classes no docs show up.

Note that the Jackson dependency comes included in the local imported project/module, but the Jersey dependency is included in the project with the missing docs issue.

All docs seem to be missing except native classes. For example, I tested a List and ArrayList and Ctrl+Q works as expected.

I would like to know how to get the docs showing back again as normal.

Check the libraries JavaDoc paths configuration in the module dependencies. You need to either specify the paths to sources that contain documentation or a path to the generated JavaDoc API in HTML format.

But in the first project the docs would should up just normally for both the project resources itself (obviously), as well as all the dependencies managed by Maven (Jackson, Apache Commons, etc.). However, in the second project the docs aren't even showing even though I am managing dependencies with Maven as well, but the docs are missing for example for Jersey. So why for one project the docs are included with the dependecies but for the other they're not even though they're managed the same way? As for my own imported project, is it possible to include the docs in the jar? How that make the docs show up? How may I do it?

In the Maven tool window there is a button to download sources and javadocs. Make sure they are available for the library versions that you are using. Try re-importing the project from Maven.

If the issue remains, please provide a sample project illustrating the problem and the exact steps to reproduce.

Downloading sources and docs with Maven did it for the project's dependecies, thank you very much. But not for the local imported project (and its own dependencies). As I asked previously, can this jar include the docs of the project itself as well of the dependencies' docs? How can I do that?

You can package the sources jar together with the classes jar and configure the sources location for the library from the sources jar.
