Creating a new project in Android Studio

Answered

I have Android Studio 2.1.1 installed. When I try to create a new project, the input screen that is displayed is so large that the "NEXT" button is not visible. Has anyone had this problem? What is the solution? I attach a screenshot to illustrate.

Android Studio support is provided via http://stackoverflow.com/. Bugs can be reported here: https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/entry?template=Android%20Studio%20bug.

Please note that the minimum required vertical screen resolution for IntelliJ IDEA platform based IDEs is 768 pixels. As I can see from the attached image, it has 768 pixels vertical size, so it should be sufficient. Probably the issue is related to your display DPI settings on Linux, so that UI is scaled too much. Check idea.log for the scale factor value.

I've also found an existing bug logged for Android Studio, you can follow it for updates: https://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=205869.

Thank you for the message. As you can see from the image of my screen, the "NEXT" button is not visible although the image has 768 vertical pixels, the minimum required by the IntellijIDEA platform. I hope I h ave understood you correctly.

Yes, and that is what I've confirmed in the reply above.
