CVS branch checkout

Is there any way that IDEA can checkout a branch from CVS? The best I can do now with IDEA is to checkout the trunk, create an IDEA project out of these files that I don't want, update the files to the branch, and then recreate the IDEA project with the proper version of the files. I'm using 7.0M2.

You can specify a branch tag in the CVS root configuration dialog. (Not that
it's much better, I admit, but the proper solution - allowing to select
a branch directly in the checkout wizard - is still not implemented.)

I overlooked that. It looks like a better way. Thanks!

Is there a plan to add such (whether a 7.x release or in 8)? I have always found the need to create an alternate CVS Root a big of a strange paradigm.

Thanks,
Mark

I hope we'll actually get around to implementing it in version 8.

Hi Dmitry

I just tried to check out a branch ... it's still not there in 8.1.3, right?

CVS will still be around for quite a while for many, many maintenance projects...

Regards,
Alex

The " http://www.lyhandbags.com/category-123-b0-Valentino.html " is what some would call a must have http://www.lyhandbags.com/. The http://www.lyhandbags.com/category-119-b0-Miu-Miu.html has become an icon of ultimate luxury and discovering how to purchase a http://www.lyhandbags.com/category-217-b0-Monogram-Minilin.html can become an obsession for some. The Birkin has been seen in the company of the women of British Footballers as well as http://www.lyhandbags.com/category-243-b0-Givenchy.html on popular TV shows such as Sex in the City and Gilmore Girls among many others. The problem with the http://www.lyhandbags.com/category-244-b0-Proenza-Schouler.html is that they are very elusive and hard to get making the purchase of a http://www.lyhandbags.com/category-214-b0-Monogram-Denim.html very difficult. The http://www.lyhandbags.com/category-218-b0-Monogram-Miroir.html is made of only the top exotic leather lined with a very soft and supple matching color goat skin. The hardware on the http://www.lyhandbags.com/category-119-b0-Miu-Miu.html is made of top quality materials typically plated with gold or palladium which does not tarnish like silver does. One alligator leather http://www.lyhandbags.com/category-246-b0-Hermes-Handbags.html with diamond studded hardware was purchased for a record $64,000 plus at an auction. One key to the purchase of a http://www.lyhandbags.com/category-114-b0-Gucci.html is to make sure what you are buying is an authentic Birkin. Because of the high price and scarcity of the http://www.lyhandbags.com/category-207-b0-Monogram.html there has been significant counterfeits or "knock-offs" produced and passed off as authentic Birkins. Look for some of these characteristics http://www.lyhandbags.com/category-181-b0-Jp-Tods.html before you purchase a http://www.lyhandbags.com/category-114-b0-Gucci.html: 1. A http://www.lyhandbags.com/category-177-b0-Celine.html many times increases in value and you will not find many sold for a low price. Any http://www.lyhandbags.com/category-110-b0-Dior.html claiming to be a Birkin that sells for less than 50% of its original value may be a fake. 2. "http://www.lyhandbags.com/category-105-b0-Bottega-Veneta.html, Made in France" will be blind stamped or gilted in the front face under the tap.
