IntelliJ IDEA 14.1.2 freezes shortly after start
Hi,
since I updated IntelliJ IDEA from 14.1.1 to 14.1.2, I'm not able to use it anymore. Shortly after launching the IDE it freezes completely. Waiting about 2 minutes leads to a "Out of Memory" message dialogue. No matter which Xmx setting I choose, the problem persists. Here are some information about the system environment:
- JDK: jdk1.7.0_51 (32-bit)
- OS: Windows 8
Does anybody encounter the same issue? Is there any recommended solution? I have not found anything regarding the current IDEA version.

Try to rename IDEA config/plugins/system folders to start with all the defaults: https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/entries/23358108 .
In case it doesn't help, attach idea.log and thread dumps:

thank you very much for your advices. Unfortunately renaming the config/plugins/system folders didn't fix the problem. It still freezes and now after several minutes, an "OutOfMemory dialogue" shows up, where I can adjust Xmx, PermGenSpace, etc. I tried several constellations but nothing helped. I therefore attach the idea.log and dump files to this post.
IDEA 14.1.3 freezes, too.

It seems that this happens only with my actual project (I have only 1, yet). Test projects (seem to) don't cause this problem. My project is a web development project and I'm currently working with ExtJS. The application server I use is probably not the reason since the IDE also freezes when not starting the server.
I uploaded several log files and a memory dump via your FTP server. It is the first time I did this, so I hope the following file names are enough for you to find it:
If any information are missing, of course, I will provide them.

Thanks for the deails. Our developers are already working on the fix. Hopefully it will be available in the next (14.1.3) update.
Thank you very much for the help. It would be great if the fix would be available in the 14.1.3 update, because I like IDEA already very much due to its greate user intention handling.
Can you please tell me the reason for the GUI freeze?
