Build numbering

Could someone clarify for me the system behind build numbering? Fixed issues related to version 9.0.x are marked as "Fixed in build: 96.xxx" is the issue tracker. The build number of the current EAP version is 95.260. Is then an issue fixed in 96.175 included in 95.260 or 95 and 96 are different streams?

95 and 96 are different branches. 95 is the IntelliJ IDEA 9.0.x branch, and
96 is the branch for IDEA 10 development.
